The Goal of Yellow Brick Road Massage, LLC is to help you on your road to wellness. As such, the following policies are in place:

Massage Modalities practiced are geared toward Sports and Injury Rehabilitation as well as Structural support. Specialized modalities are listed under the Services tab of this website, but other modalities may be available upon request. Client is responsible to keep Yellow Brick Road Massage, LLC updated on health changes so that the therapist may tailor massage to the client's needs. If the client is harmed due to insufficient information, the therapist is not liable for injury, sickness, or death incurred. 

Payment

See Services tab for price per treatment and additional travel fee. Payment due at time of service. Payment may be made in cash, check, or through Venmo or Paypal. No insurance is accepted at this time. 

Confidentiality

Services, treatment, and payment information will not be disclosed except to whom the client gives their express and written permission. Individuals listed to whom this information is shared may be modified at any time upon request. Information may also be shared with government officials if required by law (warrant or other documentation will be reviewed before information disclosure).

Client Expectations

Client is expected to arrive early (10-15 Minutes) so that they may enjoy the full amount of time for which they paid. Please arrive in good hygiene. No strong perfume, cologne, or lotions. Don't consume alcohol before the session for at least 24 hours. Don't smoke for at least an hour before the session. Eating a heavy meal within 2-4 hours before the session is not advised.

Ethics

**Please read carefully** The purpose of massage is for therapeutic benefits. Sexual innuendoes, language, and behavior will not be tolerated. Client will be given a warning if such events occur, and if not corrected, the session will end immediately and the client will be charged full price for the session. 

Cancellation and No-Show Policy
A confirmation message will be sent to you 24 hours prior to your appointment. 24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.

If you do not give 24 hours advance notice of cancellation or reschedule, you will be required to pay 50% of your appointment charge. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. 

If you confirm your appointment and then happen to either forget or consciously choose to forego your appointment for whatever reason, it will be considered a “no-show.” You will be charged 100% for your missed appointment.

Tardiness
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for payment of the *full* session. If you decide to reschedule after the appointment start time, you will still need to pay a 20% fee. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

 

Therapist Tardiness/Absence

If the Therapist doesn't arrive on time, you will receive your full massage and an additional 15 minutes added on, if schedule permits. If There isn't enough time to complete a treatment or the therapist doesn't show up, the next service will be free of charge.

 

**In the event of an emergency, no charge will be necessary due to tardiness or absence. Valid emergency's listed below.

• Family emergency
• ER Visit
• Injury (please stay home and ice it)
• Death of a family member
• Illness (including minor cold, please stay home, rest, and drink plenty of water)
